Investing in Your Health

We all have the same amount of time in a day. How you spend that time shows what is a priority to you. The same can go for how you spend your money, what you eat, etc.
Some people say they don't have time to exercise or cook a healthy meal, but will sit in front of the tv or computer for hours at night.
Some say they don't have money for natural whole foods or supplements, and yet buy the latest fashions or spend money on other things.
I have been there, as I'm sure many others have too. It's okay if you want to spend your time, money or energy on a certain thing as long as you are honest with yourself and know that it's your choice.
I have prioritized my life in the past several months so that I am working out more, eating less and living life doing the things that are truly important to me. I don't dwell on past mistakes or regrets, but I know that I can choose what is important to me and do it. There is usually sacrifice in anything we do. If I were to sit on the couch and eat junk food, the sacrifice would be my health and how I feel about myself. If I go to the gym everyday, I sacrifice time I could spend doing something else and the cost of the gym membership.
So, what's important to you? Are you doing it? Why or why not?
It's good to ask ourselves these questions once in a while.
